Cameroon is engaged within the framework of its integration to globalisation, in a negotiation process of two types. This concerns on the one hand, the Economic Partnership Agreements with the European Union (EPA CA-EU) and on the other hand, the negotiations at the WTO.
The EPA negotiations are actually in a critical phase which necessitates the intensification of information and sensitization campaigns. Also, in order to dissipate the misunderstandings and fears raised by the EPA, activities of preparation for the implementation of the EPA should be known to the general public.
The general objective of this Internet site of the NCFCN-EPA is to make it an efficient tool for communication, information and implication of the national stakeholders on questions relating to the negotiation and implementation of the EPA.
This site comprises two parts:
- A public part: it is accessible to all internet users and contains general but pertinent information on the EPAs ;
- A member space: it is reserved only to the members of the NCFCN-EPA and of the Technical Secretariat having an identifier and a password. It contains information concerning the internal activities to the committee as well as the directory of the members.
However, most of the documents of this site can be downloaded freely, then preserved or sent to your acquaintances in view of making known the NCFCN-EPA in general and the state of the EPA negotiations in particular.
Finally, we are putting at the disposal of every user of the site a forum of discussion that would enable him to express his opinion on the EPA through the themes present in the forum.
A contact form gives you the possibility to submit your remarks and suggestions to the Technical Secretariat which would then know how to exploit them.
